It may be related to:

Cancer itself

Treatment

Anaemia

Poor nutrition

Pain

Sleep problems

Emotional stress

Other medical problems

What may help?

Gentle activity if medically appropriate

Short periods of rest

Adequate nutrition

Adequate fluids

Regular sleep

Managing pain and other symptoms

Do not simply accept severe fatigue.

Tell your cancer-care team.

Sometimes an underlying cause can be identified and treated.

Remember

Rest is important—but complete inactivity is not always the answer.

Ask your healthcare team what level of activity is safe for you.
